Sebulime Elisha Davis Born 14/09/1984, Sebulime is an artist in the fields of dance, film, photography, and graphic design. For the past 12 years he has danced, instructed, and choreographed for various dance companies, churches, festivals, dance studios, and private schools. Sebulime is a versatile dancer who works primarily with hip-hop, African contemporary, mordern contemporary and Latin ballroom dance styles. 

 

He is also a certified trainer and faciliator in the creative community model by Partners for Youth Empowerment (PYE) Global. Has worked with In Movement: Art for Social Change, Break Dance Project Uganda, Brave Kids, Open Space Foundation, Mine Vaganti NGO in various youth trainings locally and internationally.

Rachelle Sloss

Pirimo Hamza Born in Kisugu Kampala Uganda. Hamza loves dancing so much because it has made him the person he is today. He loves sharing and connecting with people and working with children, because he believes they are the future. He has been dancing since 2012, training in  Contemporary ballet, Hip hop, Latin, Afro house, and Uganda traditional dances.

 

"I love learning and challenging myself with different things because that's what makes me grow as a person. I want to become a professional dancer and use my talents to create a positive social change in my community"

"Things will come in life to put you down, get up and try again, go follow your heart and don't give up on something you love" he says

Mugisha Frank  Born  20/07/1997. Frank is part of a family of 12.  "Being a part of such a big family didn't allow me to have a normal conversations with my parents and hence not knowing or thinking about what I wanted to do in life"

"In 2010 I joined In Movement: Art For Social Change which has changed my life and attitude. In 2012 I was chosen to represent In Movement at Brave kids festival in Poland and ever since then my passion for dance  has grown to greater heights"

 

In July 2015 he was selected  for a European Volunteering program for 10 months in Bulgaria. While in Bulgaria he has worked with different dancers and choreographers, featured in TV commercials, dance concerts, shows and music video.

Ajatum Mercy Otim

Apio Sharon Mary Born  20/05/2000 in a small town called Panyakawa in northern Uganda. Sharon lives and goes to school in Kampala . She loves working with young children.  Working with In Movement and Soul-Xpressions helps me discover myself. "Dancing and writing are my passion and my inspiration is Sebulime Davis a very important person in my life. He teaches me things that I never learn at school and has made me who I am today"

Kanyike Edgar Born 25/11/2000 living in Kireka and going to Kyambogo College School. He finished his primary school at Banunule primary school whare he was an active leaders in defferent roles from headboy, time keeper. He loves dancing, acting and  photography. He started dancing in 2012 with In Movement: Art For Social change where he also developed greatly as a leader which in 2015 won him a role in the Disney movie Queen of Katwe about a story of a Uganda girl.

 

"My ambition is to study dance and photography and become professional dancer and dance teacher and a photographer"

 

 

Natabi Salama Born 9/09/1998 in Nsambya Kampala, Uganda! She finished her O level education at Nsambya Secondary and looking forward to going for a course in decoration and fashion designing.

She is passionate about dancing, fashion and design, photography and music

"To me dance is a way to express what feel inside." 

 

She joined Soul-Xpressions in 2014 and She has a background in Uganda cultural dance from "KAYDA". An Organization in Katwe helping many youth  stay away fromnegative peer presure. She is also a member of Breakdance project Uganda (B.P.U. )

All these organizations have helped Natabi grow in a positive environment and experience different things. Building confidence,amger management, share her talents, to be open minded and exemplary to others .
